Meet Eweat R9, one of the first Realtek RTD1295 Mini PC's to be announced
Realtek's new SoC promises to shake things up on the Mini PC market - and you can read all about the SoC and the devices using it right here on MiniPCDB.
The newest device using RTD1295DD will be coming from Eweat, young company that worked with Realtek last year (RTD1195) item as well.
Eweat R9 will be one of the three Eweat models using RTD1295, we'll update this article when details about the other models will surface.
For now we know that Eweat R9 will be middle one. There will be a smaller version without SATA and a third model that will feature an internal HDD bay and an external SATA port for further storage expansion.
Back to Eweat R9, the model will use the same slick aluminum case we've seen on previous Eweat models and will come with two HDMI ports - in and out - and an external SATA port.

RTD1295 should be able to play original BD content (and BD ISO), and also framepacking 3D. As expected, H.265 playback 4K@60fps and VP9,4KP60 for Youtube 4K are also on the list.
In fact, there are many unconfirmed details about the SoC floating around, and we'll try to get an early sample in hand so we can check for ourselves.
