There's a new wave of Gemini Lake Mini PC's coming, and much to my surprise Alfawise is launching one of the interesting ones - Alfawise T1.

I have to say that I love the expandability that comes with this new wave - Alfawise T1 in particular comes with two storage expansion possibilities: an M.2 2242 (up to 512GB) internal slot and 2.5'' SATA for a regular HDD (up to 2 TB).

Powered by the 6W TDP Intel Celeron N4100 (Gemini Lake), the device looks very promising - the Intel HD 600 Graphics coupled with the HDMI 2.0A output can bring 4K @ 60Hz, it's built-in microphone allows the use of Cortana (among other things), can be wall-mounted or tucked away out of sight and has plenty of USB 3.0 ports.
There are also enough USB 3.0 ports to cover a variety of use cases and if you have an old monitor you could connect it using the VGA port (but seriously, if you do have one, it's time for an upgrade).

Where to buy Alfawise T1

Alfawise T1 can be purchased from GearBest .

If the design looks a bit familiar it's for a good reason - Beelink S1 looks very much the same, but has another SoC.
The device will take a bit more power (up to 36W) than the other devices we usually announce here, so there's that. But most people will look at the expandability options before they look at the consumed power.

Celeron N4100 does support 8GB of RAM, so there could be another version of Alfawise T1 in the future with more RAM.
We don't know yet if Windows 10 is licensed (or even pre-installed).
