It's always fun to see what a tablet manufacturer can come up with when they dip their toes in the Mini PC market - we've seen this with Ainol and Pipo.

Now it's Chuwi with their GBox - a good-looking device based on Intel Celeron N4100 (Gemini Lake), with 4GB DDR4 and 64GB ROM, expandable via the 2.5 inch SATA bay and the micro SD port (up to 256GB).

The connectivity is not bad either - as you can see in the full specs below, the Mini PC benefits from HDMI 2.0, Gigabit Ethernet, dual band 802.11a/b/g/n/ac WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, 4 USB ports (2 of which USB 3.0).
Basically the device looks a bit like the Alfawise T1 device we wrote about a while ago, maybe a bit better in the looks department.

  • RAM: 4GB DDR4 2400MHz
  • ROM: 64GB ROM (might be 32GB SSD , 2.5'' SATA bay

One extra perk is the airmouse , as sadly most Wintel Mini PC's do not come with a remote control.
The device comes with two HDMI cables, a tiny one (2 cm) and a slighty longer one (8 cm), a power adapter and something called "PC Holder", which should be the VESA mount.

Where to buy?
Chuwi GBox is available at GearBest for $219.99 (including the airmouse, which is supposedly priced at $19.99 when sold separately).
