Meet Xtreamer Winbox, latest Intel Cherry Trail mini PC with Windows 10
Xtreamer revealed their next fanless Mini PC, which is based on Intel® Atom™ x5-Z8300 Processor and comes with the maximum specs allowed by Microsoft in order to get a discounted Windows 10 license: 4GB of RAM and 32GB eMMc storage.
Xtreamer Winbox is very different from the Winkey device we announced last year - Winbox is still small (140x51x19mm), but it's now looking more like a box instead of an HDMI stick (and probably the name "win box" was chosen because of this).
Xtreamer Winbox is fanless, has strong wi-fi capabilities (802.11ac/n/g/b 5G/2.4G Dual Band, dual-antenna) and can be hidden away behind a monitor (connect a wireless keyboard and mouse), so it could be a choice for a secondary mini PC.

There's a subtle change in the slogans for the new Wintel device: if the Winkey device was advertised as "Not Like a Computer. It Is a Computer", for the Winbox Xtreamer chose a lighter "Built to a Budget - Reliable yet affordable secondary Micro-PC" slogan.
Xtreamer Winbox is expected to be shipped around October 10th, at a retail price of €149 straight from manufacturer's website. Bear in mind that VAT and taxes might apply, since the mini PC will be shipped from Hong Kong (if you're in the EU, there's only the VAT, there no taxes for Mini PC's).
