I've been watching the Mygica ATV1900AC ever since it was announced, several months ago, and I am very excited to put it to a test.

Why so excited? Geniatech was one of the first to announce a Mini PC running the full version of Android 5.0, which is supposed to be superior to the standard Android 4.4 KitKat most Mini PC's are coming with these days.

Couple that with ATV1900AC's specs (see below) and you'll see why this device is very interesting.
Today we start with the unboxing, and the full ATV1900AC review will be posted later here on MiniPCDB.com .

Mygica ATV1900AC retail box

The retail box looks very polished, something that might catch your eye when found on the shelves: classy white and orange, with detailed info about the product.
On the top there's the Android Lollipop logo and they put the focus on Voice search, UHD 4K x 2K, HEVC H.265, and 802.11ac Wi-fi.
More detailed info is on the side (Quad core CPU, Octa core GPU, 2GB RAM, 16Gb eMMC, gigabit ethernet, 11.ac wi-fi, MIMO antenna, 4x USB, SPDIF and HDMI).
On the opposite side we have the EAN and serial number and the package contents (with an icon for all of them).
The bottom has a short description and some UI screenshots featuring the Android 5.0, Kodi and again the voice search, which is mentioned several times, so Geniatech must be really proud of this function.

After removing the top cover we are greeted by the Mini PC nicely tucked away in an orange inset.
Remove that and underneath there are the accessories mentioned on the box: power adapter, remote control and HDMI cable, along with a Quick installation guide.
One thing about the remote control: it has it's own mini-adapter, which will take up one of the 4 USB ports.

Closer look at the ATV1900AC Mini PC

ATV1900AC is smaller than I expected. Made of good quality plastic, it has a power button, IR receiver and LED on the front panel.
On the right side there are 4 USB ports, while on the left there aren't any ports (both sides have some discretely placed ventilation holes).
On the back we have the two wi-fi antennas, microSD and HDMI ports, ethernet and SPDIF .
There's an unused RF slot on the back which got some attention and there's also a secret compartment on the bottom of the case if you want to stash something away from your significant other (just kidding, actually the RF connector and bottom space are both used by the MyGica ATV1950AC that Geniatech just announced at the IBC event in Amsterdam, which will feature a 2.5'' HDD bay and dual TV tuner.
